Pearl Bar Houston is a lesbian/LGBTQ+ bar founded in 2013 by Julie Mabry to create a safe, welcoming space for Houston’s queer community. Known for its lively events and inclusive atmosphere, Pearl Bar has become a longtime staple of Houston nightlife. Now located at 2811 Washington Ave, Pearl Bar continues to bring people together to celebrate, connect, and be themselves.
Side Peace
Side Peace Women’s Sports Bar is Houston’s first women’s sports bar and the sister concept to Pearl Bar. Designed as a welcoming space where fans can gather to celebrate women’s sports, queer community, and Houston nightlife all in one place. The venue has quickly become a hub for WNBA, soccer, volleyball, and other women’s sports fans across Houston.
